Here's an idea I had to mash-up Calvinball with a British looking football (soccer for those of us in the colonies) crest. My wife and I just love Calvin and Hobbes!

Fruit Justus

This is a design dream I had a couple days ago. I met a man named Rusty Justus who owns a company that sells dried fruit. As soon as I heard his name I thought of this in my head. It was just begging to be done.

This is a cd label I designed for my self promotional. The cd also has vinyl grooves on the top just like an old 45 record! On the cd are a few of my favorite songs, spun by my wife a former NPR host in New Mexico. If you'd like a copy please email me and I'll send you an mp3 of it.

Air Guitar Competition Poster

This is a poster I did for a school assignment. We were asked to design promotional items for a real event. I chose the Annual Air Guitar Competition that is held at the Alamo Drafthouse every year.

Rigel Thurston is an amazing Jazz pianist. He usually covers old "Rat Pack" type songs and so I chose to give his business card a cool Saul Bass inspired early 60's design.

Moksha Yoga

Moksha Yoga is a new yoga studio that has opened in downtown Georgetown. It is also a community center for lectures and classes for those interested in creating a more balanced life. The business card was printed with a spot UV coating on the lotus flower, which really makes the logo pop. As with most of my business cards, both sides are printed to provide maximum exposure to the business being represented.

Oh La La is a Bed and Breakfast cottage just outside of downtown Fredericksburg, TX. The private gacuzzi pool and lounge area detached from the cottage with a gorgeous loft bedroom make this little B&B very Oh La La.

Undone is a radio comedy produced by BBC about an alternate version of London called Undone. It's where all the weird, crazy and creative thoughts originate. Most British comedy is very dry and Undone is no exception. So for the cover I reinterpreted the famous British "Underground" logo as dry toast on a plate.

Read This Poster

This poster was early on in my love-hate relationship with screen printing. This poster was done for a local book club. Fortunately, the organizers loved how I brought it all together. Even more fortunate, my screen printing relationship is now leaning more towards the 'love' and less towards the 'hate'.
